Membership
Membership establishes the private relationship between Loot Counsel and the Member.
Loot Counsel operates exclusively as a private members' association.
Membership creates the voluntary private relationship through which the Association may provide ministerial and administrative assistance relating to federal and corresponding state filing matters.
Those who join do so knowingly, voluntarily, and through private agreement.
Loot Counsel is not organized as a public tax preparation business, advisory firm, or commercial filing service. The Association serves only its Members.
By entering Membership, an individual chooses to associate privately with Loot Counsel under the terms of the Association's governing agreement.
That agreement defines the relationship, the scope of assistance, the Member's responsibilities, and the manner in which each filing engagement is handled.
Membership is not merely access to information. It is the foundation of the working relationship between the Member and the Association.
Membership establishes the private relationship through which each individual filing engagement may proceed.
Membership is intended for men and women who have independently examined the Lawful Money Redemption methodology and concluded that they wish to pursue it.
Loot Counsel does not require every Member to have mastered the process before joining.
It does require that the Member has reached their own decision and is prepared to participate honestly, carefully, and in good faith.
The Association is especially suited to those who are ready to act but prefer not to manage the administrative process alone.
Loot Counsel is not intended to persuade the undecided, debate the general public, or make personal decisions on anyone's behalf.
Once the private relationship is established, Members may request assistance with federal and corresponding state filing matters.
The process is designed to reduce confusion, maintain order, and ensure that each required step is clearly presented.
Loot Counsel does not remove the Member from the process. The Association helps make the Member's participation clear, limited, and manageable.
Organized document collection and review
Guidance regarding the records needed for the filing
Preparation and coordination of filing documents
Autograph coordination
Assembly of the mailing packet
Clear instructions for the Member's required actions
Administrative support relating to post-filing correspondence
Each Member remains responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and completeness of the information and records they provide.
The Member is also responsible for reviewing the documents prepared for their engagement, applying their own autograph where required, and personally completing any submission made in their name.
Loot Counsel provides structure, organization, and assistance.
It does not replace the Member's judgment, conscience, or responsibility.
Members are expected to communicate honestly, provide requested records in a timely manner, and follow the agreed process in good faith.
Membership establishes the private relationship. A filing engagement begins when the Member requests assistance for a particular filing year and completes the required intake, agreement, and initial contribution steps.
Membership establishes the private relationship between Loot Counsel and the Member.
Each filing year is handled as its own engagement with its own intake, records, status, and circumstances.
Federal and state matters are handled separately, even when they rely on many of the same underlying records.
The Association manages the administrative progression of each engagement and provides clear direction at each stage.
For a federal filing engagement, the Member is guided through a defined sequence that generally includes:
State filing assistance is handled as a separate engagement.
Because the relevant records and autographed documents are generally already available from the federal engagement, the state process is typically more direct.
Once initiated, Loot Counsel may proceed to prepare the state filing documents, assemble the mailing packet, and guide the Member through autographing and submission.
State filing assistance is available only after the applicable federal engagement has reached the required stage.
Loot Counsel is supported through contributions associated with each filing engagement.
Each federal filing year is calculated as its own engagement.
Each state filing is handled and calculated separately from the federal engagement.
For an engagement in which a refund is expected, a $500 initial contribution is required before preparation begins. The remaining contribution becomes due after the refund is received.
For an engagement in which no refund is expected, the full contribution is required before preparation begins.
Each filing year and each federal or state engagement is calculated separately.
Membership and filing assistance are governed by written private agreements.
These agreements explain:
Members are given the opportunity to review these agreements before proceeding.
No filing engagement begins until the required agreement and initial contribution steps have been completed.
Loot Counsel provides ministerial assistance and administrative support.
The Association does not act as the Member's agent, fiduciary, principal, or legal representative.
Loot Counsel does not make personal decisions on the Member's behalf and does not take control of the Member's filing obligations.
All actions are taken at the Member's direction and with the Member's direct participation.
Membership does not guarantee a particular outcome.
Every engagement depends on the Member's individual records, circumstances, actions, and the responses of the relevant government bodies.
Membership also does not excuse incomplete records, inaccurate information, missed deadlines, or actions taken outside the agreed process.
Loot Counsel provides an established methodology and organized support, but each Member remains responsible for their own participation and decisions.
Loot Counsel's commitment does not end immediately after the mailing packet is submitted.
For filings completed during a Membership engagement, the Association remains available to provide guidance relating to filing-specific correspondence and administrative follow-up.
Where additional communication is required, Members may receive direction regarding the next appropriate step.
The purpose is to preserve continuity and avoid leaving the Member without support after submission.
For those who have independently chosen to pursue the Lawful Money Redemption methodology, Membership establishes the private relationship needed to begin.
From there, each filing engagement proceeds through a clear, organized, and carefully managed process.
